Bring your mind home - Meditation

The main reason for becoming negative (suffering) is because of the countless problems that originate from our faulty internal outlook and this contributes to the fact that happiness never lasts for too long. Soured relationships between people, stress at work, financial worries, problems in raising one’s children, and many other factors that all cause unhappiness.

Because we become lazy, we tend to look for the causes of distress in external circumstances. We are often able to quickly find a culprit in the wrongdoing of others. In the long run, though, this strategy turns out to be a very tiring exercise because it leads to the fact that problems never change. It does not help to keep blaming others because this only results in a substitution of causes, whilst all along the true reason for being negative (suffering) can only be found in looking at your inner self.

When you learn to look inside you will discover the reasons for your suffering. It is the disposition of your mind. All your suffering is self-inflicted. You are the only person who thinks in your mind. You are the only person who perpetuates your continual ignorance of self. You are the only person that can make yourself happy.

You definitely have the ability to create our own reality. You can transform your reality anytime, using visualizations created by your own mind. Only a stable mind can create a stable and positive life.

Your success and your performance depend on the quality of your mind to concentrate. When your mind is stable your life will become stable. When you can recognize that everything you create in your life is a product of your mind, you will then be able to start changing the very things you think are not possible.

You can transform all your outcomes with your mind and you do this by controlling the direction and outcome of the illusion until you give it form. The stronger and more stable your mind, the stronger the outcome.

Understanding the philosophy of the mind and the great power of strengthening the mind to stay focused, enables you to see that there has to be a belief in the power of one’s own mind. This connection is the source of all your power and it brings you abundance from the universe.

We are fragmented into so many different aspects. We don’t know who we are, or what aspects of ourselves we should identify with or believe in. So many contradictory voices, dictate and feelings fight for control over your inner life that we find ourselves scattered.

In stillness and silence of meditation, you get a glimpse and return to that deep inner nature that you have so long ago lost sight of amid the busyness and distraction of your mind. It is extraordinary that our minds cannot stay still for longer than a few moments without grasping to distraction. The mind is restless and pre-occupied. What does that say about the way we live?
